Only 2 out of 10 children complete basic primary school in our target areas ; Butambala, Mpigi, Gomba and Wakiso districts calling for urgent response.

Skilling Women and girls
Africa's Greatest Resource is Her Women, Empowered
To break the cycle of poverty in our rural communities, we deploy a participatory approach where we skill and empower our own community members to steer development.
With women and youth at the core, we invest our time and resources to impart business skills that enable beneficiaries generate income, utilize opportunities and contribute to community development.

The Goal: Zero hunger
From recent home visits to 98 of our beneficiary’s homes in Butambala district on May 1, 2021;
87.7% of the beneficiaries said they attended classes on a hungry stomach. Majority reported to have occasionally missed afternoon classes on the same account.

Water and sanitation
Helping Rural Communities to Access Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
Hundreds of children move long distances to fetch water only to reach school late and exhausted.
Those that fetch in the evening have often reported sexual attempts while others have been impregnated at the community wells.
Together with our partners we continue to solicit support towards construction of more boreholes, water harvest tanks and bio-wells.
