FUNDING OF PROGRAM ACTIVITIES AT VOTU

There are numerous organisations that are involved both directly and indirectly in the various activities that take place at VOTU.

1 Butambala Water Hygiene & Sanitation Improvement Project
3252 Budde, Bulo and Kalamba Sub counties Drilling 9 deep water wells, provision of 3 plastic water tanks, training and sensitizing the community on water related issues GGP-JAPAN –

2 Developing skills to fight poverty among the OVCs & youths Butambala District Vocational training skills in areas of tailoring, carpentry, computer etc. Work Aid

NOTE
We have calculated some figures as time contributions towards VOTU activities. Eg. Eye4Africa Interns are giving VOTU 415 hours for 13 weeks of their social work with the community through VOTU. This time is converted into monetary value of 300 shillings per hour.
VOTU has programs that run throughout the year. For 2014-2015, a program was designed to help the organisation in conducting its various activities.NOTE:We have calculated some figures as time contributions towards VOTU activities. Eg. The program has  a well structured work plan to guide activities such as education, mobilisation, field visits,as well as Monitoring and Evaluation.
